It has been a while since I have managed to post anything on my blogg but I have not been idle though progress has been somewhat slower than I would like.

I have been working on my Sanwar army and have completed 3 units so far, I just need to do a little more workon some of the bases.

This is the first time I have used a wash with any real success and I am quite pleased with the results. I just wish that I had a bit more confidence to have had a proper go with them years ago.

I have been cracking on with my painting and beginning to feel good about wargaming again, it might be a strange thing to say but the business kind of takes over and I have been doing less and less gaming. Well I have finished a unit of Selenites and I have nearly done the basing on the second Sanwar unit. Also I have been painting some of our new Boxer rebellion range and hope to get about 20 done by next week.

I am quite pleased with these chaps. Think I might do some stats for In Her Majesties Name.

It has been a while since I posted something on my blog, this is due just a lack of time with trying to get some new releases finished. I have been working on a second Sanwar unit in between things and this one is armed with some hand weapons.

I have also been working on some basic Martian terrain tiles these are 600mm x 600mm x 12mm MDF. First I coated them with some textured paint. I then painted them with a mid reddish-brown coat of emulsion followed by a heavy dry brush of a more orangey brown colour then drybrushed them of a terracotta shade. So far I have only painted 2 of them so that i can experiment with the colour until I get something I am happy with.

Once I have finalised the colours I plan to make some small mesas next and some canal sections. 

Here is the first unit of Sanwar armed with their sonic rifle/blunderbusses. Not to sure if I like the red flock though, so this might change once I have decided on the foliage colours on the terrain boards I am working on.

Here is a look at some of the new figures, we are in the process of remastering some of our earlier British and Prussian infantry figures. The alterations include new and better heads plus having new arm positions for more variety.
